Al analizar la legalidad del expediente, el tribunal constat\u00f3 que los plazos legales para continuar con la acci\u00f3n penal se encontraban vencidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gill estaba imputado por el delito de lesiones leves calificadas por el v\u00ednculo y por violencia de g\u00e9nero hacia su expareja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acuerdo con la informaci\u00f3n difundida, la causa lleg\u00f3 a la C\u00e1mara luego de un cambio en la estrategia de la defensa, encabezada por el abogado Eduardo Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente, los magistrados resolvieron que la acci\u00f3n penal se encontraba extinguida por el paso del tiempo y dispusieron el sobreseimiento del exintendente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La resoluci\u00f3n se fundament\u00f3 en la prescripci\u00f3n de la causa, es decir, en el vencimiento de los plazos legales para que el Estado pueda continuar con la persecuci\u00f3n penal.
