Un hombre de bufanda oficiando\nde barbijo, pantal\u00f3n oscuro y un saco de codos aceitados caminaba como\ncorriendo sin correr. Mir\u00f3 hacia el autom\u00f3vil antes de cruzar. En el brazo una\ncanasta de mimbre con varias varillas de pan, envueltas en papel film. Gir\u00f3\nnuevamente la cabeza para confirmar s\u00ed su sospecha era cierta, levant\u00f3 los\nhombros como escondiendo el rostro. La duda de instantes, tambi\u00e9n se me disip\u00f3.\n&nbsp;Imposible no reconocerlo. Era \u00e9l.\nCientos de ma\u00f1anas acerc\u00e1ndonos el cortado o el caf\u00e9 corto. Algo me perturbo.&nbsp; Seguramente m\u00e1s a \u00e9l. Mozo de oficio. El bar,\nestaba cerrado desde hac\u00eda m\u00e1s de dos meses y medio. Alguien hab\u00eda comentado\nque no lo abrir\u00edan m\u00e1s. Repas\u00e9 el n\u00famero de laburantes del lugar. Sum\u00e9 cinco.\nM\u00e1s el propietario. Lo perd\u00ed de vista. Algo me hizo ruido entre las v\u00edsceras. Quiso\nla casualidad que un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s, lo encontrara tocando timbre en una casa de\nla calle Tucum\u00e1n al 1000. Afortunadamente no me vio. Alguna ves nos hab\u00eda\ncontado que ten\u00eda cinco hijos, uno de ellos casado, con un beb\u00e9, y viv\u00edan con\nellos. Morocho de cabello corto. Siempre amable. Frecuentemente se la rebuscaba\nlos fines de semana con la bandeja, en grandes fiestas. No le escapaba al\ntrabajo. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Record\u00e9 los informes que publicaron recientemente\neconomistas y analistas sobre que la pobreza post pandemia, alcanzar\u00eda al 50%\nde la poblaci\u00f3n, o seguramente algunos puntos m\u00e1s. Esos puntos son personas.\nGente de carne y hueso. Gente que bebieron desde la misma cuna la cultura del\nesfuerzo, pero que ya comenz\u00f3 a dolerles la existencia. Por eso escond\u00eda su\nrostro. No es lo mismo una bandeja que una canasta. Supongo que debe suponer. Es\nimposible no pensar qu\u00e9 suceder\u00e1 ma\u00f1ana cuando el despertador ya no nos suene.\nGenera temor. Un pavor mucho m\u00e1s latente que el saturante COVID 19, o la\nexacerbada cuarentena con la que nos aislaron. Ya no hay vuelta atr\u00e1s. Se\ndetuvo la m\u00e1quina que hac\u00eda girar al pa\u00eds. Los resultados nos atropellar\u00e1n y el\npozo de la desocupaci\u00f3n har\u00e1 estallar todo atisbo de esperanzas acu\u00f1adas.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>La imagen del ex mozo, ahora vendedor de pan callejero,\nme pareci\u00f3 un adelanto del futuro, un ma\u00f1ana que ya hoy, me espanta el sue\u00f1o.\nNo solamente a m\u00ed. No pude evitar suponer cu\u00e1ntas canastas veremos colgar en\nbrazos que se estiraron en un pa\u00eds arisco, pero a\u00fan vivible, donde un bichito\ninvisible a los ojos, les fue funcional a un poder que corre enceguecido en el\ndesaf\u00edo de lograr un nuevo \u201creino\u201d, donde la exclusi\u00f3n nos equipare de a poco. &nbsp;Sospechar c\u00f3mo ser\u00e1 la patria que viene, deber\u00eda\nser una obligaci\u00f3n de todos. Posiblemente nos encontremos con muchas canastas\nesper\u00e1ndonos.
