En su vida cotidiana es comerciante, pero tambi\u00e9n es competidor de kick boxing y desde hace ocho se dedica al monta\u00f1ismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acaba de alcanzar la cumbre del monte Denali o McKinley, la monta\u00f1a m\u00e1s alta de Am\u00e9rica del Norte. Junto con un grupo de argentinos y monta\u00f1istas de otros pa\u00edses como Chile y M\u00e9xico, entre ellos un atleta ciego, alcanz\u00f3 la cima en este pico ubicado en Alaska, a una altitud de 6.190 metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta monta\u00f1a est\u00e1 situada a unos 320 kil\u00f3metros del Polo Norte y es considerada la monta\u00f1a m\u00e1s fr\u00eda del mundo y con un acceso complicado y dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero, no es el primer ascenso que logra. Un hijo de la llanura, puede desvelarse por las alturas, pero el monta\u00f1ismo no siempre es el resultado final. Y el comienzo fue a lo grande. \u201cTodo empez\u00f3 como un anhelo, porque era algo casi imposible para quienes vivimos en esta regi\u00f3n\u201d, recuerda en di\u00e1logo con <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elregionalvm.com.ar\">EL REGIONAL Diario Digital.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCuando tuve la posibilidad econ\u00f3mica y f\u00edsica para poder hacerlo, decid\u00ed intentar con el Aconcagua (la monta\u00f1a m\u00e1s alta de Am\u00e9rica), no empezar con una monta\u00f1a chica como empiezan todos. Mi hermana y yo lo hicimos, y no nos bajamos m\u00e1s de la monta\u00f1a\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambos hacen alta monta\u00f1a, pero \u00e9l con un poco m\u00e1s de frecuencia. Adem\u00e1s, viajaron en bicicleta por distintos pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica del Sur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero, el Aconcagua fue solo el principio de un itinerario que lo llev\u00f3 a diversas regiones del planeta con la finalidad de completar el circuito de los siete picos m\u00e1s altos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLlevo hechas cuatro cumbres: el Aconcagua, la m\u00e1s alta de Am\u00e9rica; el Elbrus, en Rusia, el m\u00e1s alto de Europa; el Kilimanjaro, en Tanzania, el m\u00e1s alto de \u00c1frica; y el Denali, en Alaska y Polo Norte. Me faltar\u00edan el Everest, la m\u00e1s alta de Asia y del mundo y la m\u00e1s alta de Ocean\u00eda. No salieron fotos de la cumbre, ni de las banderas\u201d, se lamenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa foto que m\u00e1s quer\u00eda y que m\u00e1s voy a extra\u00f1ar es la imagen con la bandera de los veteranos de Malvinas. Pero, el tiempo le dio la revancha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEsta expedici\u00f3n ten\u00eda programada hacerla en junio de 2019, pero problemas card\u00edacos me alejaron del deporte. Me dijeron que nunca m\u00e1s en mi vida iba a poder hacer deportes, fueron a\u00f1os muy duros, ya que siempre fui una persona muy activa\u201d, rememora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEste a\u00f1o comenc\u00e9 a entrenar, luego del paso por varios m\u00e9dicos, y el parque Denali abri\u00f3 y se pudo organizar el viaje. Fue muy r\u00e1pido e imprevisto\u201d, acota para comenzar a relatar el trayecto hacia la helada cima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Jonathan Stobbia, el hernandense que alcanz\u00f3 la cima m\u00e1s alta en Alaska\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LGRHEjwqf4w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption><em>Cruzando un r\u00edo helado, en la larga traves\u00eda hacia el monte m\u00e1s alto de Am\u00e9rica del Norte. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las particularidades del pico que escal\u00f3 sobresalen, seg\u00fan el intr\u00e9pido hernandense, su dificultad de acceso, la elevada falta de ox\u00edgeno y la mayor altitud existente entre el campo base y la cumbre de una monta\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSe suben 4 mil metros, lo que no pasa en ninguna de las monta\u00f1as del Himalaya. En el Everest, por ejemplo, se suben algo menos de 3.800 metros. Adem\u00e1s, hay alrededor de 40% menos de ox\u00edgeno que en otra parte del planeta\u201d, comenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCon la baja presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica que hay y las dificultades que presenta equivale a un pico de unos 7 mil metros. Es considerada m\u00e1s dura, f\u00edsicamente, que incluso el mism\u00edsimo Everest. Este tiene otras dificultades relacionadas con la aclimataci\u00f3n por la gran altura. Es una monta\u00f1a desgastante desde todo punto de vista, te cansa\u201d.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La expedici\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El grupo de Jonathan estaba integrado por siete personas: Ignacio Lucero (Mendoza), un experimentado gu\u00eda de monta\u00f1a; Valent\u00edn Bueno (Buenos Aires), Luciano Merino (Corrientes), Pablo Buchblinder (Santiago de Chile), Omar \u00c1lvarez (M\u00e9xico DF) y Rafael Jaime (Durango, M\u00e9xico).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los puntos excepcionales de la expedici\u00f3n fue la presencia de Jaime, un atleta de \u00e9lite ciego, que posee varios galardones en su haber y \u201cse encuentra catalogado como una de las diez personas ciegas socialmente m\u00e1s influyente del mundo\u201d. Estuvimos solo 8 minutos en la cumbre y bajamos\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A continuaci\u00f3n, una s\u00edntesis del relato en primera persona por parte del protagonista:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cLa expedici\u00f3n comienza en un peque\u00f1o pueblo de Alaska, de ah\u00ed se llega al campo base en avioneta. Pas\u00e1s de tener 20 grados a 10 grados bajo cero en 40 minutos, en medio de un glaciar.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Luego hay ocho horas de ascenso en trineo al campo 1. En total llevamos 52 kilos cada uno, entre ropa, equipos de acampe y comida. Siguen siete u ocho horas de caminata hasta el campo 2.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Nosotros nos salteamos el campo 3 (fue una jugada medio arriesgada, pero nos sali\u00f3) y fuimos directamente al campo 4, donde estuvimos a 4 mil y algo metros de altura. Fue el d\u00eda m\u00e1s desgastante que tuvimos: arrancamos a las 3 de la ma\u00f1ana a 18 grados bajo cero y nos agarr\u00f3 las tres de la tarde en medio de un glaciar con 40 grados. Tuvimos una amplitud t\u00e9rmica de \u00a158 grados ese d\u00eda! Algo muy loco. Nos demand\u00f3 21 horas de caminata llegar al campo 4.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Nuestra idea era estar unos d\u00edas ah\u00ed para prepararnos para llegar al campo 5 y la cumbre. Pero, hizo unos d\u00edas con mucho temporal y se nos complic\u00f3 el viaje. Parte del equipo tuvo que bajar porque ten\u00edan problemas para cambiar los vuelos. Pablo, Valent\u00edn y Luciano se volvieron, quedamos cuatro.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ni bien pas\u00f3 la tormenta, avanzamos a campo 5, esperamos 18 horas y salimos hacia la cumbre a las 11 de la ma\u00f1ana. Llegamos a las 9 de la noche a la cima del Denali. Fue un d\u00eda largu\u00edsimo y agotador, f\u00edsica como psicol\u00f3gicamente. Unas cuatro horas antes de llegar a cumbre se levant\u00f3 un temporal y la temperatura pas\u00f3 de 5 bajo cero a 35 bajo cero, con vientos de 50 kil\u00f3metros en la hora. El fr\u00edo es inimaginable. Bajo esas duras condiciones seguimos cuatro horas m\u00e1s y llegamos a la cumbre.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fue un momento totalmente emocionante para todos, pero, por otro lado, debido al clima duro no lo pudimos disfrutar mucho. Estuvimos solo 8 minutos en la cumbre y bajamos.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fue una expedici\u00f3n rara. Porque a Ignacio, al gu\u00eda, le hab\u00edan dicho que nunca m\u00e1s iba a poder escalar, al igual que a m\u00ed. Excepcional tambi\u00e9n fue la presencia de Rafael Jaime. Fue una experiencia \u00fanica compartir el ascenso con \u00e9l.
