Con gran alegr\u00eda y entusiasmo, ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as de los jardines municipales Las Ardillitas y Mar\u00eda Ida \u00c1lvarez visitaron esta ma\u00f1ana las instalaciones del Centro de Adopci\u00f3n Municipal (CAM) donde formaron parte del festejo por el D\u00eda del Animal. En el lugar, los peque\u00f1os realizaron distintas actividades y compartieron una jornada de juegos, concientizaci\u00f3n y aprendizaje junto a las mascotas que habitan en la instituci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La iniciativa, impulsada por la Secretar\u00eda de Gobierno, Seguridad Ciudadana y Asuntos Legales, dio inicio con un desayuno, para dar continuidad al recorrido por los distintos caniles dispuestos a lo largo del predio. De este modo, junto a docentes y autoridades, los chicos visitaron los diversos sectores divididos conforme a los tama\u00f1os y edades de los perros que all\u00ed son contenidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De la actividad form\u00f3 parte el titular de la cartera de Gobierno, Eduardo Rodr\u00edguez, quien recibi\u00f3 a los ni\u00f1os y los acompa\u00f1\u00f3 durante su visita. En este sentido, expres\u00f3: \u201cEstamos muy contentos de volver a realizar este festejo que se hab\u00eda visto suspendido en a\u00f1os anteriores por la emergencia sanitaria\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl CAM es un lugar privilegiado para los villamarienses, porque permite el control de la zoonosis y de las mascotas que son abandonadas en la calle\u201d, apunt\u00f3 el funcionario. Adem\u00e1s, destac\u00f3 la labor realizada en pos de la adopci\u00f3n responsable de mascotas e indic\u00f3 que todos los perros son revisados, vacunados y esterilizados previo a la entrega a sus nuevas familias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En relaci\u00f3n a ello, Rodr\u00edguez explic\u00f3 que las adopciones pueden ser concretadas tanto en las actividades realizadas por el centro en la v\u00eda p\u00fablica, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n en el mismo predio. Para ello, una persona mayor de edad debe ser la encargada de completar los formularios correspondientes y asumir los compromisos de cuidado y protecci\u00f3n. Al mismo tiempo, quienes adopten un animal recibir\u00e1n una correa y alimento balanceado de regalo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, el director de la entidad Oscar Cabrignac, indic\u00f3 que actualmente el CAM cuenta con una poblaci\u00f3n de alrededor de 300 canes que ya han sido inmunizados con las vacunas qu\u00edntuple y antirr\u00e1bica. Del mismo modo, destac\u00f3 que la labor de la instituci\u00f3n alcanza aproximadamente 450 castraciones mensuales, y que alrededor de 2.800 perros fueron vacunados en la \u00faltima campa\u00f1a tras ser llevados por sus due\u00f1os a los puntos dispuestos por el municipio para tal fin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hacia el final de la jornada, veterinarios que se desempe\u00f1an en la entidad brindaron una charla adaptada a los peque\u00f1os sobre la tenencia responsable de mascotas y los cuidados pertinentes para su \u00f3ptimo cuidado y desarrollo. En esta instancia, los ni\u00f1os pudieron realizar preguntas y compartir sus historias sobre sus propias mascotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De la actividad, tambi\u00e9n formaron parte el titular del Tribunal de Cuentas, Mauro Beltrami, la subsecretaria de Gobierno, Noelia Mateo, y el director de Educaci\u00f3n Vial del municipio, Gustavo Beccaria, entre otros funcionarios.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
