El nuestro: \u00bfCtalamochita o Tercero?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nuestro R\u00edo Tercero<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;conocido tambi\u00e9n como&nbsp;R\u00edo Ctalamochita, es el r\u00edo m\u00e1s caudaloso de la&nbsp;provincia de C\u00f3rdoba, llamado Tercero en alusi\u00f3n al orden en que fue encontrando el conquistador espa\u00f1ol en el siglo XVI, desde el norte hacia el sur.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n suele ser conocido como&nbsp;R\u00edo Ctalomochita, dicho vocablo es aborigen, espec\u00edficamente de los mapuches que significa zona de muchos \u00e1rboles, ya que en el curso alto del R\u00edo Tercero abundan \u00e1rboles como el Celtis tala o com\u00fanmente conocido como tala y el Schinus o molle, combinados sonar\u00edan aproximadamente talamollita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es la \u00fanica cuenca de la provincia de car\u00e1cter exorreico (sus aguas llegan al Oc\u00e9ano Atl\u00e1ntico).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"980\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rio-ctalamochita-aerea.jpeg?resize=980%2C640&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-96668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rio-ctalamochita-aerea.jpeg?w=980&amp;ssl=1 980w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rio-ctalamochita-aerea.jpeg?resize=300%2C196&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rio-ctalamochita-aerea.jpeg?resize=768%2C502&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nace en las proximidades del cerro Champaqu\u00ed, a m\u00e1s de 2.000 msnm, en una zona cuyo r\u00e9gimen de precipitaciones (pluviales y nivales) var\u00eda entre los 600 y 1000 mm\/a\u00f1o, ubic\u00e1ndose su cuenca alta en el valle de Calamuchita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego discurre por el Valle de La Cruz, hasta que ingresa en la penillanura en donde se han construido numerosos lagos artificiales escalonados (Cerro Pelado, Arroyo Corto, Embalse de R\u00edo Tercero y Piedras Moras) con dos principales funciones; obtener energ\u00eda hidroel\u00e9ctrica y regular el caudal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dique-Piedras-Moras-2.jpg?resize=1024%2C576&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49986\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dique-Piedras-Moras-2.jpg?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dique-Piedras-Moras-2.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dique-Piedras-Moras-2.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/elregionalvm.com.ar\/noticias-villa-maria\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dique-Piedras-Moras-2.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sus principales afluentes son los r\u00edos Santa Rosa, el arroyo de Amboy y los r\u00edos Grande, Quillinzo, y de la Cruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos estos r\u00edos, son embalsados por la Presa de Cerro Pelado y por el Embalse de R\u00edo Tercero, el mayor espejo de agua artificial de la provincia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A partir de aqu\u00ed, el R\u00edo Ctalamochita, atraviesa la Sierra Chica.
